  If you are looking for great food and good ambiance, don't come here. I was here 16 months ago and I had forgotten how bad it was. This is nothing more than a bistro. It is not a restaurant.
  
  I was visiting from melbourne, and took my mother and her sister from Sydney out for a relaxing dinner.
  We couldn't hear ourselves talking for the loudspeakers announcing the draw for the raffle. It seemed to go on forever. When the drawer was finally finished, we had to put up with loud, meaningless dribble from the announcer until he had run out of ways to say goodnight.
  
  I sent the rare steak back because it was cold. It came back in two minutes barely warmer than before. I didn't finish it because it was soon stone cold. The vegetables, in contrast, were over-cooked.
  
  As before, I had to go to three different cahiers to pay for food, drinks and coffee and tea later on. The bar was miles away.
  
  On the plus side, the woman on reception was extremely helpful and friendly when signing us in. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. The fish and chips were quite tasty and well cooked.
